WORLD INTERNATIONAL                 JUSTICE DAY

HISTORY 

The date July 17 marks the anniversary of the adoption of the Rome statue in 1998, the founding treaty of ICC (International Criminal Court), which seeks people to protect themselves and their loved ones from violent action of others or crimes against humanity.   

Why it is important to celebrate?

In this busy world everyone is just going with their daily routine but for some people daily routine is the malfeasance. So, innocent should be united and it is very necessary to make them aware of their rights. Guilty-free can have their justice just the way they deserve.

International criminal court (ICC) 

It is the first and independent international judicial institution. It investigates, and where warranted, tries individuals charged with the gravest crimes of concern to the international community: war crimes, crimes against humanity, genocide and the crime of aggression. This institute came into being when several states adopted a statue in Rome, known as Rome Statute of the International Criminal court.
