चपोरा फोर्ट या दिल चाहता है फोर्ट

चपोरा फोर्ट जिसे 'दिल चाहता है' फोर्ट के नाम से भी जाना जाता है क्योंकि गोवा के चपोरा फोर्ट में 2001 में आई 'दिल चाहता है' फ़िल्म जिसके हीरो आमिर खान थे की शूटिंग हुई थी।  तब से इस किले का नाम दिल चाहता है फोर्ट पड़ गया। और तब से यह गोवा का प्रमुख आकर्षण स्थान बन गया है। 

चपोरा फोर्ट उत्तरी गोवा में है। यह किला वेगाटोर बीच के ऊपर एक पहाड़ी पर बना हुआ है।  

इतिहास 

चपोरा फोर्ट बर्देज गोवा में स्थित है जो कि चपोरा नदी पर बना हुआ है। 
यह फोर्ट आदिलशाह ने बनवाया था मगर पुर्तग़ालियों ने यहाँ 1717 में आने के बाद इस फोर्ट का नाम शाहपुरा से चपोरा कर दिया। अकबर ने मराठाओं के साथ मिलकर 1693 में पुर्तग़ालियों से लड़ने के लिए इसे बेसकैम्प की तरह इस्तेमाल किया था। अब तो यहाँ मात्र किले की दीवारें ही बची हैं। 
खासियत
इस किले की खासियत यह है कि इस किले से आप चारों दिशाओं का दर्शन कर सकते हैं। यहाँ का नज़ारा बहुत ही खूबसूरत है। नीचे नीला समुद्र ऊपर खुला आसमान और चारों तरफ हरियाली।  लफ्ज़ों में बयां ही नहीं कर सकते।

Chapora Fort or Dil Chahta Hai Fort 
Chapora Fort, also known as 'Dil Chahta Hai' Fort, was named so because the movie was shot in 2001 in Goa's Chapora Fort, whose Hero was Aamir Khan. Since then, this fort has been named Dil Chahta Hai fort. And since then it has become a major attraction place of Goa.

Chapora Fort is in North Goa. This fort is built on a hill above Vagator beach.

Location 
Chapora Fort is located in Bardez Goa, which is built on the Chapora river. 

History 
This fort was built by AdilShah but after coming here in 1717, the Portuguese renamed it from Shahpura to Chapora. Akbar, along with the Marathas used it as a basecamp in 1693 to fight the Portuguese. Now only the fort walls are left here.

Specialty 
The specialty of this fort is that from this fort you can see in all four directions.  The views here are very beautiful. The Blue Sea below, the open sky above, and greenery all around cannot be expressed in words.
